I had sex 7 dpo, but still missed my period!?

I had sex October 26, AF was due November 2nd but she never came. I'm so confused right now! Should I wait until December to test if it never comes? What are the chances of conceiving 7 dpo? Has this ever happened? I'm confused...and also my bbt is really high it was 99.5 this morning opposed to 98.5 a couple days ago. What is going on? Someone please help!

Are you trying to get pregnant? I would test now if your late.

If you had sex at 7 DPO then you can't be pregnant. You have to have sex the day you ovulate or a few days before to get pregnant. Pregnancy won't happen if you have sex after your egg has gone.

There are chances to get pregnant at anytime during your cycle. If you don't want to get pregnant use birth control.

How do you know you ovulated?

I thought I ovulated mid month, turns out I Oed while bleeding and conceived my daughter

Not true at all. You can get pregnant just about any day of the month.

It is true that you can get pregnant any day of the month during ovulation. However, if she is saying she is 7 days past ovulation (dpo), this means she ovulated 7 days ago, and can no longer conceive.

Yes I know that. Our bodies are not always 199% accurate. She may of not actully ovulated then or she could possibly ovulate twice. I have even heard of people getting pregnant right after their periods.

You're either not pregnant or weren't 7dpo.
