re: December mommys!!!!

I've been having contractions for the past 3 weeks. Only dilated at 2 cm. Waiting to see what my doctor says. She doesn't want me to go past my due date. We talked about inducing as well.

Oh my, I definitely think you will go into labor soon! Hopefully before your sweep or right after   that's great you're already 4 cms

Awww hang in there hun! I know it's easier said than done though! Try doing some squats and lunges and walking up stairs. I really think that helped me go into labor!

Today was my due date. Sadly he's not he yet. I feel like it's never going to happen. BUT i did have a few hours of contraction last night and am feeling a lot of pain down there.
5 Yes 5 of my friends that were pregnant all went early. One on my friends was due on the 9th and she went at 38 weeks to the day. I'm now 40 weeks and one day and I'M OVER IT.
I go to my OB on friday and i'm going to ask about being induced. I have high BP that they have been watching and a never ending headache. I have a trace of protein in my pee but they said it was only a trace and not anything to get to worried over. I have been going to OB apt 2 times a week since last week. I had an ultrasound last friday to check on the baby who is doing good and they said he's about 7.2lbs and that could be off by 10% lower or higher. My OB keeps telling me he's just a little guy so to hear he is around 7 pounds was good.
I'm all ready for him and have everything all set up and ready to go. All i need now is him.

I seem to have really intense, regular contractions when I'm sitting down and then when I stand up and walk around they seem to stop. But they last a minute or more when I'm sitting and are intense enough to take my breath away. They just started this morning...woke me up around 4 a.m. and have been increasing in frequency throughout the day.

Scratch that, they now persist when I'm standing up. They've been anywhere from 5-7 minutes, lasting about a minute, for the last hour. Thinking about calling my OB soon...I have a 45 min drive to the hospital and I know it's important to get there in time because of the strep B...

Been having semi regular contractions. My fiancee stayed home today to help with finish setting up the babies room. Of course I didn't have a single contraction at all. Just my little boy using my bladder as a punching bag. Hoping I have the baby soon. I am ready for him.

So I had consistent contractions for a few hours...started out at about 7 minutes, and by the time I got to the hospital they were 4 minutes apart and making me seriously uncomfortable, lasting for more than 60 seconds each. I got there and they hooked me up to the monitor, and the nurse checked me...she said I was still at 2 cm. The midwife said I could either stay and walk around for a few hours and then get checked again to see if I had progressed, or go home and come back when things picked up. I decided to go to my parents' house since they live right down the road. The nurse said to try taking a warm bath and maybe walk around for a while...I did both of these things. They said they'd keep my room for me since they expected me to be back soon. I started getting a massive migraine so I decided to take some tylenol and lie down...

Woke up this morning to NOTHING.
