I'm in labor!

Ouch I hate swelling. Hopefully everything checks out okay for you!

They had to move my appt to today for my 38 week appt so we shall see. I go in at 4:15. I hope I'm dilated a bit more bc I've been feeling like things are "happening" down there, but of course it could all be in my head.

Well I just got done at my appt and I'm still at a "loose 1 cm" dilated and I only say loose bc he stretched me a little while he was stripping my membranes. Ouch dude. So hopefully I will at least lose my plug and if not, we shall try again next week! I keep forgetting to ask if I'm effaced at all, dammit! Lol I'm sure he would've said something if I was super soft though so I doubt I am unless it's just a bit. How is everyone else??

So just got back from our apt. 1.5 cm dilated after 3 weeks of contractions. Go back next week to have an ultrasound and see if my body is ready to go. If so we are inducing on the 7th at exactly 39 weeks. If not, well then we wait. My blood pressure was high so I have to do a whole LOT more of laying on the couch doing nothing like I have been for the past 10 weeks. And to make matters worse I've been without pain medicine and spasm medicine (kidney stents) for 4 days. Finally got it refilled today. Hopefully I'll get to sleep more than 2 hours tonight!

Im due December 17th! Ive been in preterm labor for 6 weeks now.... And stuck at 2 cm for the past 3 weeks. Went today for my 37 week apt and now am 3cm 80% effaced and +1... I dont really feel my contractions thanks to Procardia due to high bp. However Im glad im not the only one feeling this way through out the night and in the morning... I can not sleep my hips and back kill me. I can never sleep a full night with out getting up to take some pressure off my hips so I walk for a bit till I get tired enough to sleep a little longer... Lil Man weighed 7lbs on November 8th so I can only imagine but he weighs now... I hope he comes before my next appt which is on the 5th....

Oh you poor thing! Labor dust! What a big healthy boy! Keep in mind they can be off in weight though so don't get too nervous about him being too big  

I've started losing my plug today. It's coming out gradually when I wipe and looks clear and stringy-ish. Not used to that bc it came out all at once with my first DD

I'm due in a week. No clue if I'm dilated. Been in "false labor" for 5 weeks, consisting of contracting 5 min apart for hours at a time

I'm tired

That sounds rough :/ how will you know if you're in true labor with false labor lasting that long???

I have my 38 week appointment tomorrow. Last week I was dilated at 2 cm already. Have no clue how far effaced I am. I already started loosing my plug. Hoping this little boy comes soon. Been having a few contractions. Question though: Sometimes my upper stomach will get really tight, is that part of my contractions? Most of my contractions have felt like menstrual cramps and really bad back pain. I'm not sure what to expect this being my first pregnancy.

Yep that's normal because your uterus is all the way from the bottom of your boobs to your vag haha. It's taking up a lot of space and it's normal for the entire thing to tighten up during contractions. Makes it hard to breathe sometimes.

At least we have hard wood floors.  

Just had my "bloody show" at work (nice, huh?) Omg it was so much that I had to wipe three times to get it all and it was VERY bloody with bright red blood. With my first daughter's it was just a quarter sized glob that fell out and it just had a little tinge of brownish-pink blood. It's normal for it to be bright red too right??

Mine was bright red with DD1
