re: Due December and still nothing!

posted 5th Nov
You may be having them, but just don't feel them. I didn't feel them with my first child. I went in for my 39 week check up and doctor told me I was 4 cm dialated and he sent me to L& D. I didn't start feeling the contractions until a few hours before I delivered, even though the monitor showed that I was having them constantly.
I am 35 weeks right now with my second child and am feeling them, but they are not strong. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between the BH and baby moving around.
So don't worry...it's normal to not feel them.

Be grateful! I am on my 3rd baby. With my first I had them but they weren't terrible and they started around 28 weeks with him. My 2nd pregnancy was horrible when it came to BH that started around 26 weeks. This time around they started at 18 weeks and have been horribly painful at times and I'm only 30wks. Ugh I wish I had a fast forward button at this point. This pregnancy has been the worse by far with everything. The BH just add to it. Good luck!

Im 33 weeks today. Haven't noticed any BH this preg or any of my prior pregancies either.. i cant honestly say im sure i'd know what is was anyway.. but everything is going smooth.. i also dont have to pee all the time either.. i can go 2-4 hours w/o going to the bathroom depending on how much i drink.. but for the most part i've always had a strong bladder.. i even asked my dr about that too.. bc everything i've read says i would be in the bathroom every 10-15minutes so i was "worried" about that too.. and occasional breast soreness, never any morning sickness either.. the only thing i have had issues with is downward pressure, and sore in the groin area and v, and discharge (yuck). Im 39, and this pregnancy is going pretty smoothly.. makes me want another after this one

I never had them with my first and haven't yet this time either. due Dec19th

My DS came 10 days early and the first time I felt contractions they were real ones. I wouldn't worry about not getting any.
