Child Support

I LOVE how the child support department does nothing.... both times I have finally got so fed up I decided to find the deadbeat myself... it took me 2 phone calls and about 2 minutes to find my son's dad. This time it took me about 60 seconds.... ugh. Well... I just hope they process the paper work sooner than later.... I'd LOVE to have their job... maybe I'm just an extra smart cookie.

Agreed. I told them bd lives with his grandma & it still took them 2 years to get him served. Smh

You can do the process yourself. It's very complicated but you can. If I was on aid they'd have been all over it....  

He took off to new york & I guess they have better things to do then go after deadbeat dads. He owes 25000 in back pay so its a total of 8 years non payment. He paid a 1/2 payment in aug & sept because he had cs court last week & sure enough once court was done no more payments. I hope he grows up someday

what happens when the kid turns 18? Do they still have to make payments?

He won't have any new payments but he will still have to pay his backpay. I guess they will modify the order because ds will be 16 when dd turns 18 but that's still a couple years away

I just don't understand people like that... I just don't... I even told jack ass how to fight child support and gave him my apt (which he got evicted from weeks after I left) so that he could have a chance to have her 50/50 and wouldn't have to pay as much. I even told him one day I will end up paying him if he does what he is supposed to.

If he doesn't make a payment in nov ill take him to court myself. He needs to act like a man & grow up instead of sitting around playing video games

He should be in jail.... if it were Cali anyway.. IDK what CO's laws are.

Well I live in co & he lives in new york. I've heard that new york child support enforcement is a joke
