Lump

I found a small lump on my neck. Everything I have read leads me back to Lymphoma, I hope I am just being paranoid, but it isnt uncommon in my family. I do not have a primary doctor because I cannot afford one, so it would be a challenge for me to be seen right now. Does anyone have any info or links I can get a bit more knowledge from or personal experiences?

You could just be getting a cold, your lymphnodes can become swollen when your body is fighting off infection. If you really think its something else then go see a doctor, try and find a free clinic, because if it is serious you want to catch it asap.

If it doesn't hurt when you press on it, and you can move it around, then it is probably nothing. When it is painful and immovable (and a lump, not an ingrown hair or bad pimple- you would be surprised how many times those are confused) is when you have to worry about it.

Well that makes me feel a bit better. My grandmother has had 3 tumors removed from her neck and head, she did however tell me they hurt to the touch, mine doesnt at all. It moves around but it isnt painful.
