Awe Congrats Mama! That is aWesome! Did you go into labor on time? Early? And how was everything?! I am always so interested in other's birthing stories! LoL Also did your doctor expect you to have a small baby or anything like that? =)

early.
had an induction. :[ not what we wanted at all, but since I was already dilating nicely, they let me do an elective induction since SO would be gone for a few weeks. we tried to let him come on his own, but me and SO didn't want him to miss it.
they told me he'd be small, and they were all worried and whatnot, but my first was really tiny too. 6lbs 9oz. 19.1 in long. but he also came two weeks early.
I just make small babies(: which is good, because I then birth really fast!
we go back on Monday to do a US on his kidneys. they said there was a little abnormality, not sure what. but they're not too concerned.

Well I am so happy for you an that everything went well! He is healthy and all! I send positive vibes your way for his little Kidney's! I am sure everything will be fine. Babies are stronger than most think. I myself am due in 8 days. I am only at 1cm dilated and 50% effacement, my next check up is this coming Thursday on the 8th. I am definitely hoping for some progress. My doctor is wanting to give me a membrane sweep so I am a little unsure if that's what I will do or not. I want my baby out so bad but yet I want her to come on her own so I have mixed feelings! I must say I am jealous! LoL ;P
They say my baby is going to be small too. On 10/19 they said she only weighed 5lb 2oz so I am hoping she has gotten a little bigger! Congratulations on everything from your new bundle of joy, to your labor, birth and all! That is definitely exciting as tiring as I am sure it was! <3

he measured 5lb 10oz two weeks before I had him. I don't take those into account too much, they're not always right. sounds like you'll have the perfect sized baby tho! not too much to push out, but big enough to make it.
I've really been blessed with amazing labor and deliveries. my first, I woke up at 5:20 am, water must have broke when I went pee, and immediately went into labor. he was born that morning at 10:03, after 5 pushes!
this time, I started the induction at 3pm, and progressed pretty well. he was born that night at 11:27pm after 6 pushes!
hope you don't need the sweep, I've heard it hurts like hell.
