posted 3rd Nov
For personal reasons ive been pumping insted of direct breastfeeding. Im almost 3 weeks pp & i just cant stand pumping anymore. I feel like im stuck to the pump 24/7. I have to hide in the bedroom to pump also, so im stuck hiding in the bedroom a lot. I wanna contiune pumping but im getting tired of being glued to the pump 24/7

Honestly your only other choice would be feeding from the breast, you will only be able to pump for so long before you fully lose your supply. Your breasts need the stimulation from a baby suckling on them to keep up the supply. If you are uncomfortable with it then you will eventually end up needing to formula feed anyways.

Is there any way that you can pump alot ahead of time and store it?

you're going to have to either put the kid to the breast, or give formula.

First why do you not want to breastfeed directly? Second why do you have to hide and pump? Third, however you choose to feed your kid is your choice. as long as baby is fed that is all that matters.
pumping is a lot harder than just nursing. nothing works like a baby.

I agree, I barely get anything out when I pump. I will get like 2 ounces from both breasts.

We live with my mil & bil till we have enough saved up to get our own place. I have inverted nipples so its hard to nurse & the lacation nurse at the hospital suggested that i pump. I have no problem with supply. I produce abt 8 to 10 ounces in the morning, then afternoon i get abt 6 ounces, then evenings i get abt 4 ounces. This is my first time breastfeeding so its all new to me.
