Urethra falling out?!

posted 3rd Nov
I had my son a little over a week ago. Had a small tear inside my vagina, didnt need stitches, and a graze on my inner labia. All fine and they dont bother me.
However... when I get up from laying down for a while, or sit upright, it feels like my urethra is "popping" out, with a huge pressure on my pubic bone / clit.
I did have a urine drain during birth due to the walking epi.
Does anyone know what this is?

I'm not sure, but I hope you're going to be ok!

I had a urine drain, tears and an epi but never had that feeling, I think maybe you see a dr just incase.

Yikes =/ Okay I'll ring my doctor on Monday then, or have my midwife have a look when she comes to check up me.

Of course, it may be something completely different for you. But yeah, I think I'm gonna have to have an operation to remove it - boohoo! I knew it was too good to be true to escape childbirth with no tears or stitches
I suppose for you it could always just be an after effect of having a catheter in.

See, I'm scared too that I got off too "easy" with my tiny tear and graze! I hope its an after effect of the cathether, but I'm wondering why that takes longer to heal than my tear and graze lol.
And good luck with the operation mama! Sounds like it hurts ;(

Ahh, doesn't mean you will have to suffer with something, maybe you are just one of the few lucky ones   and thank you. It doesn't hurt now, it's just that feeling when I sit down, particularly on the toilet when I pee. Feels like something is poking out :/ they'll put me to sleep for the operation so I'm sure it will be ok. If you survive childbirth you can do anything, right?! ;)
