My 5yo just got his bath and is in his PJs and was coloring, out of no where he walks up and takes my hand and starts gently shaking it and says all very seriously
" nice to meet you young lady, you look very pretty today"
and then walked away to go get the rest of his crayons.
LOL don't know where that came from but that was adorkable! Had to share.

LOL nope adorkable - because he is my adorable little dork.
I love how kids just say whatever they please, sometimes it comes out a little wonky (like his pointing people out at grocery stores or saying DH butt looked big one day) but sometimes it just melts your heart into a big ol' puddle of love.
Heart melting moments like that remind me why I don't put my 2.5 year old in the dumpster, lol.
She'll come up to me on the couch (and I'm feeling like smurf because I'm on bed rest), pet my head and go "Awww, I like your hair, mommy. That's a cute shirt."
Granted, she'll usually ask me for something afterward, but it's still cute, lol.
