Yeah I agree. If I have a girl and that kind of things werent allowed, then yeah. I would take them oout and put them in a charter school.

I got mine when I was 15, so I knew from all my friends. I was so happy when I finally got it. Then like a month later I hated it already.

I'll start talking to them about it when they're 8 or so. I know generally girls get theirs around the same age their mother did, so I think 8 will be many, many years before they actually get to it.

I like the idea of giving them a purse when they get it, to keep that stuff in.

They'll use what they feel comfortable using. Pads *shudder*, tampons, cloth, whatever. I'll do what my parents did: just give me the money, send/drive me to the store, and DADT.

Yep. My daughter is almost 12. She has not started yet, but has been in the bathroom enough to know what to do. And we have talked. We are very close.
