sign up for tanf, medicaid, food stamps and find a hud housing apartment complex and fill out the paperwork. all you should have to pay is electric and tanf will cover that.. your food will be covered by food stamps and medicaid will help you pay for any necessary transportation for dr. appts

I have never been in that situation, but I am sorry for those who have.

IF I ever went into the situation, I would move in with my mom temporarily until I could get back on my feet. If something should happen to my mom (wish I pray nothing happens anytime soon or near future), but just if...my mom has a $100,000 life insurance policy. Some would go toward funeral expenses. My sisters and I would each get $25,000.

Honestly, I have never seen that happen. They will do more to help you because taking a child from the parent isnt exactly the highlight of their day.

I personally live near the Christian's Women Center and they are awesome. They just rebuilt their facilities after the Tornado that came through. They also have a local store here that is thrift store where they sell donations to help pay for their facility and to be able to help women in need.

I'm sorry, but why would one even think about keeping a baby if one can't even provide for themselves.?

Seriously? because it's your child and because there is help out there. These issues can be temporary, not permanent. Many people go through financial hardships, lose jobs, become homeless due to the economy and being laid off. They are not all giving their kids up. That was kind of a crappy thing to say.

Just because you can't provide for yourself right now doesn't mean things wont get better. That's why there are organizations out there to help in times of need for all people pregnant or not. If something suddenly happened in your life where you became homeless would you give up your child?
