True! I didn't tell my dad when I was pregnant with my first, I was still in high school. He eventually found out from other people. It's so much better that she hear it from you, OP.

If everyone knows except your family, I think you better think about telling her. I think it's better she hear it from you.

Then wait the 2 weeks until your out. But, then tell her right after that. If you don't want to deal these 2 weeks with living with her and her knowing.

not far almost 11 weeks but my SO said that theres a bump and you can start to tell

Maybe she just wanted better for you...I'm guessing. It was probably a struggle with being so young. She wanted better for her daughter. Parents always want better for their kids than what they had or have went through.

I understand you had a hard time with her during your first pregnancy but you should still tell her. When I was pregnant with my first (i was 20) I didn't tell my mom until I was almost 30 weeks, we had a lot of issues.We've talked about it sense and when I found out how much pain it caused my mom by not telling her it crushed me. I don't see the harm in waiting until you move out, you could easily say you wanted to wait until you're in the safe zone. But please tell your mother, don't let her "just find out"

Everyone handles stuff differently. I can't say how I would handle it if my child did the same crap I did. I would be heartbroken.
