My morning sickness cure

posted 3rd Nov
I have had morning sickness since I was about 10 weeks. I am now 22 weeks and I still occasionally get it but not as bad as before. I have tried alot of things to help with it. But the only thing that has proven to be the most effective is ginger ale! I suggest that anyone who has severe morning sickness like I did try it! I can almost guarantee it will work.   Good luck!

Ginger ale made it worse for me..the bubbles made it come back up..Ginger candy worked wonders even though I hated the taste.

The only thing I found that helped me even a little bit were seabands. I tried everything and ginger ale or anything ginger for that matter made it 10 times worse. I had hyperemesis and lost 25 lbs in the first 12 weeks I couldn't keep anything down until I got the seabands then my appetite slowly returned.

My cure was Zofran and lemons. I can eat a whole lemon...peel and all. They were amazing.

Didn't do much for me + I was sick pretty much all the way through though it was worse 7-14 weeks. It only really worked for about half an hour at the most, then the nausea always came back. From 24 weeks or thereabouts I had constant vicious heartburn + acid reflux, the ginger ale only made it worse. Nothing I tried ever really worked.

God mine was so bad and nothing helped, in the end I gave up trying to stop it and just ate really bland food so it didn't taste as bad on the return journey! I lost 19lbs but thankfully it stopped at 29 weeks x
