PLEASE HELP ME!

posted 3rd Nov
Hi, well i'm 22 weeks starting on monday. I know my baby is not going to get here til 18 weeks from now. I have been going thru fake contractions and the are not that bad. I have been going on Youtube and watching people going into labor and stuff(not to sound wierd) just to see what im going to go thru. I am planning on getting an epidural. But alot of my friends tell me the contractions feel like hell and the birth is not as bad as them......
My question is....
are Contractions horrable?
Does it actually really hurt giving birth?
-please help im sooo scared!!!!!!

Contractions are intense, with pitocin they're worse. Labor smurfing hurts! You're pushing roughly 33cms out of a 10cm hole. IMO the ring of fire (baby's head coming out) hurts worse than anything but I gave birth twice naturally with no pain medications at all. I was 17 & 19, I just told myself that I could do it, that's what my body was made for & I wouldn't change it at all!

Contractions suck. If you don't have a really high pain tolerance, I suggest getting the epidural.

I'm not gonna lie, it was easier the second time around because I knew what I was doing.

If the baby is big enough to get stuck, it'll do it regardless of an epidural or natural. If the baby was to get stuck, they would either do an emergency csection or they would be more than one person working to get the baby out.

SO TRUE!

my first natural labor was not horrible though. It only lasted 1 hr 46 minutes but I was totally unprepared for a natural labor!

I did my research with my daughter and acheived a painful labor and delivery! I actually enjoyed giving birth. I laughed and joked through the whole thing.

My first was 2 hours 27mins and second was 4 hours 11 mins.

I had to have pitocin induced contractions with my first.

I had pitocin with my second but I was already at 5 cm.

I went in at like 3 with my eldest and a broken water, then they jump started with pitocin right away.

With my youngest I went in at 5, an hour later I was 6/7, another hour I was 10.

Its crazy when it goes super fast. I was so relieved when they induced with my daughter. I was terrified of delivering in the car. I think we are done having children!!!!
