How to tell the difference

I had a epi with my son almost four years ago and im currently almost 39 weeks and have been having really bad back pain....How can i tell if its back labor or just side effects from the epi i had years ago? Ive tried taking hot baths i drink plenty of water im just confused on whats going on with my body right now.....

would you even have side effects from the epi that was 4 years ago now?
I had 2 spinals 2 years ago and I dont have any side effects that I know of

I really dont know to be honest thats why im bere trying to find out lol.... Im not sure what this pain may be....But i have heard of people having back problems from an epi

you can have epidural side effects for the rest of your life


op my pregnancy back pain was lower than where my epidural was put in.. i havent had any side effects from my 2 epidurals except with my first, i had bad pain at the site after birth, hurt more than my vagina

I've never had an epi, but my back labor started as a constant back pain that progressed to getting GOD AWFUL every 20 minutes then like 10 then 5... So it'll get worse intermittently just like contractions. Good luck!

Oh ok thank you i had bad back pain like 3 this morning it was my whole back it really felt like contractions in my back....i mean so bad to where i couldnt move and was in tears the whole time it was happening... Im just curious as to what could be going on
