Ah! Blood! Could labor be soon?

So yesterday when I woke up I got this weird runny snotty stuff running out of me the first couple times I used the bathroom.. And today after giving up on ever going into labor and worrying about being induced all night. (previous posts) anyways I just went to the bathroom and had bright red blood come out.. Not really dischargey at all.. Could this be the start of labor?? Maybe I lost my mucus plug yesterday? I know you can bleed as you dialate bc the capillaries break! I was bleeding a good bit after my membrane sweep and lost a big glob of something then too but since I stopped bleeding from that I haven't been anymore... Please someone tell me this is a good sign! I am so excited!

It could be your bloody show.

blood could be good (start of labor) or bad (placental abruption or 1000000 other things could be wrong) def. get it checked out either way and let us know

Yes but it doesn't mean you're going to go into labor RIGHT NOW...just be aware that it could be any day now!

I didn't have bright red blood til my water broke. Before that I had a lot of pink discharge then 5 hours later my water broke and that is when the red blood came.

If it was a lot of blood, like a period, I would DEF call ur Dr. ASAP

41 weeks and 2 days is like forever.. I want it to be now not any day! Lol.
Is the bloody show supposed to be after your mucus plug? I want to get checked out but my hospital is over and hr away. Lol. I might call and ask them in a couple of hours tho.  

I had bloody show when I went to the hospital to be checked if I was in labor. I was having non-painful contractions but they were 2 minutes apart. The blood freaked me out SO bad!!

Anyways I was almost 8 cm and had my baby less than an hour later. But that is very atypical...

That's how it was for me. I lost my plug, had my bloody show, then my water broke half an hour later. Either way, your time is near!

Oh. That is kinda what scares me. Our hospital is so far away and my mom never knew she was in labor with her kids. Her water broke with me at 27 weeks (holy shiz) and she went to the hospital and they told her she was in labor. She couldn't feel it.. She said she wasn't in pain until like transition.
My sister was born on the kitchen floor bc when she figured out she was in labor she didn't have time to ride to the hospital. Ambulance just came and got them.

And my aunt on that side had really fast Labors too. Wanted an epi and would head straight to the hospital only for her to be told she was too far along to get one! Both times!

I don't want an epi so I'm hoping my labor is fast.. But I still want to get to the hospital! Jeez!

I almost didnt go in when I did. Hubby made me. My total labor was only 1 hr 46 minutes.

Thankfully I was induced with my daughter. We had an gours drive to the hospital and her labor was 36 minutes!!!
