What drug could be doing this? help?

My 23yr old male cousin has been showing signs of drug abuse for about a year now. Our family is so worried about him, its heartbreaking. His mother and grandmother are in denial that something is wrong with him. Hes been borrowing sooo much money from everyone for a long time. My aunt recentlly western unioned him 900.00 in one week and the next day he was asking for 100.00 more. What could he be doing? He is very aggressive towards his girlfriend. He kicked her door down recently. He punches holes in walls. Right now hes stays with our grandmother and lately with my other cousin who recently said shes worried about him because hes lost sooo much weight hes disappearing. She overheard him on the phone with his grandmother begging him to take him to Puerto Rico because he cant take it here anymore. If you ask him is he okay or whats wrong he says hes okay. Hes very secretive. He leaves for hours and comes back late.He barely eats. We dont know what to do, but we know hes really depressed and dont know why. Does anyone have any advice. Please Ive been crying for two days thinking about him and hoping hes okay. hes my cousins son, and our family is pretty close, but im upset that his mother and gmom are in denial. Im afraid he might od or something bad.

Could be any number of things though

meth, cocaine, crack maybe even presciption drugs. It really could be numeous things.

Has your family talked about getting him into rehab?

that sounds like someone coming down off of a drug. which one is hard to determine by what you wrote, anger, violence, deppression, and the need for money happens after coming down from drugs. what is his behavior like while he is using. is he speedy, slow, tired looking slurred speech manic?

I re read, i would say an upper or pills. but again, you described a lot of possibilities.

His eyes are usually kind of bolgy (dont know the spelling) and red and dark circles. Hes kind of always on the move, in and out. He always looks exhausted though.

most likely an upper, that sounds like he is gacked out. (meth)

Sounds like meth to me. My mom's ex did it and he was crazy.. only drug I've really witnessed in effect other than marijuana and if you're spending that much on marijuana then there's something wrong. But meth, my mom's ex made like 5000 a month at his job but never had any money...

Cocaine, Meth, Heroin... Sounds like it could be any of those.

Could be anything but I would guess Meth or Heroin

What kind of pills can get you like that? Can you smoke heroin?
