I wonder why she was following him   Why not walk with him? When M was meeting up with his BM (I went with him and his son was there also), she was getting super mad at her son and I hanging out and giggling. Well whenever M and her finished talking, she told her son that it was time to go but he didn't want to leave with her. She yelled "GET IN THE SmUrfING CAR NOW!"

People who hit their kids disgust and repel me and I make no effort to hide that from them when I'm unfortunate enough to be in their presence. If my kids are with me, I point the freaks out to them (once out of earshot) and make an example of them of why we are careful with our tempers and why we have to be kind to each other even when we're mad.

Nothing I can do about the abusers, unfortunately that barbaric smurf is still legal here, but I can move away from them and talk to my kids about abuse and what to do when they see it going on.

Hitting and spanking are completely different. Spanking can be done properly and when the parent isn't pissed, how is that abuse?

When people view hitting another human being as abusive behavior? And no, they are the same thing. The meaning of hit is to come against something with impact or to make forceful contact. That's what "spanking" is, they're the same thing.

now abuse and discipline are not... I understand how some parents can spank in a non abusive manner

I dont spank my kids at all, but if they misbehave I threaten them no matter where we are, smurf that.

What you want me to give them 5 bucks and put a smile on my face, so ppl can judge me anyways and say oh look her kids are being bad and she is not doing anything about it, what a bad mother.

I tell my kids to "watch it" to "close their mouths, and not say another word"

I always say "what you want a beating" and I dont hit or spank my kids, only did once with my now 4 yr old, when she opened the car door while we were driving and undid her nb sisters carseat from the seat as well as her own, first and last time I ever spanked her.

People need to mind their own buisness, cause no matter how a parent acts in public with a misbehaving child others will always judge. If parents spank and it works good for them, if they use other methods good for them.

I n Canada spanking as actually been banned, and CPS would be called for spanking in public if you did it.
