Could this be labor???

Since yesterday I have been feeling like I'm on my period and also been having on and off back pain I went to the doctors today and all they did was a ultrasound and they sent me to the restroom to swab myself...only a inch into my vagina, i took a shower before i layed down and noticed some thick egg white kind of clear buger looking thing! i looked online and saw pictures of mucus plugs and some looked like mine but thiers was much bigger.. what can this be?????? I am currently 36+1 weeks

I'm almost positive that was your mucus plug. I'd go to the hospital love.

I would def say it's ur mucus plug. It doesn't mean you're going into labor right away but if you're cramping, it may actually be. Trust me, you will KNOW when you're in active labor!

I wasn't to sure were to post this under so i just posted it in both forum categories!
& thank you everyone who replied! i called my ob and she said just my mucous plug...and that when i go in Thursday she will check me....
