what is smurfing wrong with me?!?!

posted 2nd Nov
I've made a couple posts about bleeding for the first time on depo.
I've been on the shot for 9 months, never had a period.

I started spotting brown on the 27th, went on for a couple days with Random spots of red.
Last night I started bleeding dark red blood with small clots.
And now im REALLY bleeding heavy with large clots (bigger than a quarter)

Wtf is this?
Is it just a period or could I have been pregnant?
Last time I tested, about a month ago it was a BFN.
But lately I've been having these sudden waves of nausea and I'll gag then it goes away   I go November 8th for my next shot, but in the mean time I'd like to have an idea of why this is happening.

I have no idea, but I hope you get it figured out. Hopefully it's just a period..

I would take a test now and if you WERE pregnant then it might still show very faint on a test. But I know sometimes the shot can wear off early and then cause you to bleed. I had that happen.

I think I'll hold my pee in the morning and buy a test after I drop SO off at work.
I really hope it's just a period

Hopefully it's something like that.
Maybe since my shot is due soon it's just wearing off Early.

i was on depo for over a year. after 6 months i would get a weeks worth of a period, IN AN HOUR, clots and all. it was really gross, and it ruined alot of my pants. i even had to leave work a few times because i would have blood running down my legs. i will NEVER get the depo shot ever again in my life.

I've been on the depo since February and I'd bleed for like 10-14 days, a couple weeks before I got my next shot. A week ago I experienced the worst cramps and bleeding ever while on. (NEVER experienced cramps since I got the first shot!) and I had huge blood clots also.

I was supposed to go on November 8th for my next shot but I've been informed that it can cause infertility so I won't be continuing the shot.

I hope everything works out for you!

I want something without the hormones but that is as effective as the depo.
We don't use condoms sometimes and I want something that will work.

I heard that too.
I don't want anymore kids so if that's what happens I wouldn't mind.

I was on the shot before DD and I never bled then, it's so weird.
I'm also having cramps, but mostly on my left side near my hip bone

That's mainly where mine were too! Maybe this was just a one time thing and it won't happen again. Did you speak to your DR?

No I haven't talked to her.
I wish I could find a better BC.
I just want no period, no hormones, no baby.
Lol

Someone told me there's a non-hormonal version of the shot but I'm not sure if that's true.

I guess I need to ask my Doctor at my appt.
The bone density thing freaked me out, I don't want to be all brittle at only 20.
