Ghostly experience?

My grandpa passed away on Halloween evening. I'm still trying to cope with it but with me being in CA and my hometown being NM it's been hard to believe it, get closure you know. Well this morning I woke up sweating after having a dream. I was at my mother's house, my grandpa lived there with her and she was inside crying because she lost her dad and I walked outside to leave and there was bright lights shining so I turned to my left and I saw him standing there, I was like omg poppy(that's what I called him) and he said HI very happily and I said how are you? & he said I am so happy and was really giddy saying it, I said I just have to hug you and told him I loved him. He started telling me some funny story about how he realized something he never understood and than he just vanished. He passes away in my mothers home, where he lived. I told my mom and she said he came to me to give me closure? Do you think this sounds like that? She said he's been ringing wind chimes in the house when shes crying or talking to him.

If you believe in ghosts/spirits then I think that he came to give you closure.

That is how it was when we had to put my dog to sleep. We all knew she was still around and she would be in my dreams, then one day I just felt relaxed and at ease. And I knew she had finally moved on.

Better than my mom, she has dreams when people are going to die, or when something major is going to happen:/

Yep I think ur very lucky to have seen him like that so quickly. Sorry for ur loss though. I see butterflies when I'm thinking of my FIL n once a yr after he passed hubby n I were talking n I said "do u think ur dad is pissed" n all of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder like he'd do n a loud "yes" in my head. I too saw he was surrounded by beautiful bright light. We had a whole convo but telepathically n like seeing flash cards in ur head. So amazing I'm glad u got to tell him u loved him!!!

He was only 63 and didn't deserve to die so young. I haven't been home in about a year and didn't spend much time with him when I was there. He was just told 2 weeks ago only 15% of his heart was alive after a heart attack. I didn't even call him because I was nieve and thought he would live through it, so I really feel guilty for that. I loved him so much. );

I read somewhere (or maybe it was in my psychology class that we discussed this, i don't remember) that when you dream of someone that's passed away, it's them actally speaking to you. It's their way of communicating with you. I've had many, many dreams about Patton's father and everytime I always wake up feeling like we've just finished a face-to-face conversation like we did when he was alive. It's a very odd, yet content, feeling.

That is crazy. It felt so real that I just had to get opinions. I didn't get to say goodbye so this dream made me feel very good.

It probably won't be the only one you have! I have dreams about friends that passed when I was about 10, to this day, and i'm 22. I usually have the dreams when I'm missing them, or thinking of them... It's always so neat.

Wow I have never dealt with someone this close to me passing so I really hope your right. I would love to see him again.

It's definitely interesting. whenever my sons father passed, the first few months, i used to hope and pray that i'd have dreams about him. Just to feel that "closeness". I had them quite often at the beginning. it's been almost two years now and i dont have them but maybe once a month or even every few months.
