What is one thing you always

say to your kids?

When my kids tell me "I can't", I tell them "Can't never did nothing".  

i tell him "yes you can. you can do anything."

i hate that word.  

We always tell each other "I love you". Then I will say "How much?" Then they reply "To the moon and back!".

"Be nice to your brother". lol

Sometimes I open my mouth and some of my mom's phrases come out...I then clap my hands over my mouth in horror...

i never wanted to say "because i said so."

We always say to the moon and back, too! <3 it

i always used to tell him, "you're my favorite" and he'd say "you're my favorite!"

but since i got pregnant, i stopped doing that.

In my case, it's my dad's phrases that come out.

I use to call my oldest my one and only son... Can't do that anymore. lol

"Stop hitting the dog"
"Get off the dogs back"
"Stop throwing your toys at the dog"
"Leave the dogs mouth alone"

Also something I never thought I would say "because i'm the mom and I said so"

That's what I say to my preschoolers everyday. "I can't" is my pet peeve. At te end I add "but sometimes we need help, so we have to ask" and I model how they can ask me to help them.

My son is 8 and sometimes I swear he has no common sense so I always say "Are you serious?" I love him to death but there are times. We also say to the moon and back but it usually ends up being a competition like I love you more, most or mostest to the moon and back times infinity! DH and I do it with each other and the kids.

When my children have a disagreement (which is daily) I always say "you need to use your words and work it out together, you need to problem solve b/c (insert whatever argument is about) does not involve me"

We say "I love you" "I love you more" "I love you most" "I
Love you forever" and dd gets mixed up and says "I love you never" haha
