Just a heads up though...if it NEVER did NOTHING, that means it DOES do SOMETHING, because...well, double negatives negate each other. Sorry, one of my BIGGEST pet peeves.

"30 seconds or less do it immediately" I say that to my 4 year old a lot to encourage her to clean up as she goes.

Don't pick the dog's nose...don't jump on the dog....etc. Those are all said to my 2 year old.


And,"I love you" I think we say that a lot, which makes me happy.

"Get out of the kitchen, you just ate."

All. The. Time.

That is not how I talk. I dont do double negatives. Just the saying.  

I always say "one or none" when they ask for a treat while cooking dinner lunch etc....They can have one but if they want more it becomes none if they whine.

when they use awful grammar I say "who ever learnded you english" or "that will learn ya"

or "the discussion is over, bring it up again you are grounded"

in regards to 2nds on food: "you can have more but you can't have less" meaning i'll dole it out a bit at a time b/c i HATE waste!!!
