Oh, this is cool. I'm glad I found it. I'm Cassie. BD left me before my son was born, about a year ago and haven't spoken to him since. I have a new SO now, we've been dating for a couple months. He's amazing. I am so happy. I always get nervous though that he might feel pressured into the "father role", ya know?

I never really bring it up. He always wants to be around DS. He loves spending time with him. I just always think since he has absolutely no father figure that SO feels like he needs to "step in". Maybe he doesn't think that though and I'm just crazy.

You never really know with men. My last non-serious boyfriend broke this off in the beginning because he said he wasn't ready for the responsibility of being a dad. And I was like....Slow down, tiger. So we had to have a talk to let him know that I didn't WANT him to be a father figure right away. I guess it depends on the man, though.

My DD father is around. So I start off telling guys. She already has a daddy. So they don't need to play daddy.

Same here. Things are going great with SO. He spent the night on Saturday and loved waking up and playing with DS which was so adorable! I'm really happy with where things are going.

Busy weekend for me! Spent both days with SO and the kids. We got a couple hours on Saturday for a date   That was fun.

I love just spending time with him and our kiddos. Everything feels sooo right and I'm SO happy!

I worked all weekend but was able to see SO for a couple of hours on Saturday. We ate pizza and watched a movie before I had to go to work. Last night I was talking to him on the phone and said I'm growing on him. We have been seeing each other for a month and half, I think I'm getting attached. We get along good and taking it slow so we don't rush anything. We are also holding off on him meeting Autumn. I'm afraid if he comes into he and we don't work out its going to hurt her too. This dating stuff is hard.

I'm going to slowly phase mine away from my kids so they don't miss him as much when we end things.

Ive been cheaking in and reading, and I FINALLY have something to post. lol
I won't go into detail, but the end of my BFF's bachelorette party ended in an unexpected BAM! However, this guy who has me smitten is only 20!! 20!!! After I got all into him he told me his age. He is very mature for his age and doesn't look 20 at ALL.... so now I feel like I just robbed a craddle. lol Am I cougar??? Either way, I'm glad I met someone who could make me swoon. I know I still have a heart left to give after the crap I've been through. It sucks because I know he is still hoping for something to happen with his babby mama, so no chance of a future there... but I'm still really happy to have run into him. I hadn't had a guy treat me nicley in so long... I'll take it! lol

I see a few of us in here have new BFs.... so yey for the future!

It's crazy that you find a guy when you least expect it. I didnt think I would have met a good guy where i work. I work in a casino and my BF was a customer. I started off by giving him smurf and he returned it. He also asked me like 20 questions in a row. I never gave my number out to guys at work because I didnt think it was good idea but this guy grabbed my attention. Im glad I did because we have been seeing each other for 6 weeks now.
So YAY to new relationships!!

On another note I'm almost a week late   I have tested a couple of times and the tests come up negative. I'm hoping its just stress and lack of sleep because of work that has my period delayed. A pregnancy will not be a good thing right now. I told the BF and he said lets just wait a couple of weeks before i test again but its hard not to test lol
