I wish that I was like that. Seriously... I coulda married the doctor.... but I NEED good sex. Even in my smurffy marriage we had sex 2-3 times a week right up until the end.. and I hated him for most of the marriage.

ugh.. why do you NEED a husband? JK.. kinda. I need sex, I need company, someone to have fun with. Husband.. not so much. I met one person I would have married... still would marry. But.. I dont' need it. Just WOULD.... because marriage was important to him.

honestly... I like having control over my own house. I like setting my own temperature, deciding how much mess is ok, when chores get done etc.. knowing when food is there.. or not htere..without someone else finishing something without telling me haha

sorry... went off on a tangent there. there are definite perks to being single.

downside.. sleeping alone, watching TV without arms wrapped around me. .... yea.. that might be it. then again.. in my marriage.. I did everything.. so not much to miss

idk. me and my ex used to live togeher and i miss the companionship, the stability, the help. i was in charge of home anyways, how much mess and all that was all my doing, if he wanted to complain than his ass needed to do it lol whichhh he never liked to do .

I'm with someone... but have no desire to live with him. Yea.. 2 income house is easier... other than that... I don't miss the tension about finances. I can spend what I want. If my SO is irresponsible with money... I don't give a smurf..doesnt' effect me. If his place is trashed.. I can think "eh, at least it's not my problem" if I decide to clean it up for him... he appreciates it..instead of expecting it.

Not dating anyone and not looking to. It's funny, I get asked out an indordinate amount and I am just not interested. I dated two guys one after the other over the summer, and it was fun but between being a 24/7 parent and school it's just too much for me; I found that I was too distracted. The sucky thing is I meet a lot of guys (yes, even my age lol) through school, but I'm not really able or willing to date now. Then once I get out in the female-dominated working world I will be and there won't be any guys anymore, lol. An unbelievable percentage of the women on dating sites here are nurses for this same reason.

yup! I can't even imagine whre I would meet someone not online. I don't want a drunken bar guy.. and certainly dont' meet anyone at work. (DEFINITELY not in my field haha)

Lucky for me, my BIL has a HUGE family full of single men around my age--and they are all amazingly family-oriented, great people. And he also has a lot of friends in their mid-30's from HS and college. So hopefully he will be my ticket to meeting someone when I am ready, lol.
