Well, the date I had on Sunday went great   So great that he made it official, I met his daughter, and he met my son last night! He also met my parents. His daughter is so sweet! She warmed up to me right away and loved playing with DS. My son really likes SO. He's usually really shy, but he was talkin to him and bringing him toys to play with. By the end of the night he wanted to sit on his lap and watch tv. We all just sat around and played card games and puzzles all night   It was really nice. I love that he's such a family guy.

I think I might have finally found the right guy!!

It's official and you introduced the LOs after the first date? That is really fast. Very happy for you, especially that he's a family guy. Just concerned when I see women (especially single moms) throwing themselves headfirst into relationships. Hoping for the best.

had you just met? I'm certainly not a relationship expert, but would be cautious of anyone wanting to be official after just one date.

of course not. He's only obligated to information about our children, their health, and their education.

I'm bein careful   After the last couple of crazy guys I was talking to, I felt a little paranoid about dating. But things feel really good with this guy. He wants the same things I do. He has a good job, he supports his little girl on his own, he's buying a house, he's not in the relationship just for sex. He wants to wait for that because it tends to just screw things up if it happens too soon. He also wants me to be around his family, which is great. I've noticed in all my past relationships, they didn't want me around their families. At all. That's a huge red flag I was looking for, and it didn't show up  

He's 22. So a year older than me. We've been talking for almost a month I think, and it was after the second date that it was official. We kept things really casual with the kids around. It was basically a play date lol. No affection between the two of us. I'm really glad I got to see how he interacts with DS, and with his own daughter.

how soon do you ahve sex with a prospect? if it's bad... does he get another chance? would you stay in a great relationship with REALLY bad sex?


for me.... if I want a relationship.. I'd rather wait to have sex. 3-4 weeks of active dating, getting to know each other. though I'm not against sex for sex sake... if I'm not expecting a relationship.

my current relationship... he's smurfing amazing in bed...same with foreplay. we met... 2 days later had a 2nd date... and had sex ALL NIGHT...after fooling around for hours. But... I NEVER expected him to be a relationship. Honestly... I picked him off POF...a co-worker and I decided I needed good sex to get over an ex..and picked him because he "looked like an smurf" lol. a year later...we;'re still together.

I just recently broke it off with the BD a few months ago. I plan on moving back to my hometown and an old guy friend found out a asked if I would like help looking for a place... I say its starting to spice up a little! Sex wont be an option for a few more months.
