I agree completely.. and honestly kinda have the feeling like he just wants to have me on standby even though I'm his wife and mother to 2 of his kids.

Well...
I went on my date last night.. I had a good time was comfortable and he was nice, but i dunno if there was anything there, i could be myself for sure, but like i don't know if your supposed to get that giddy butterfly feeling or not because i didn't but i def liked him..
We went to this really nice restraunt where it looks like a train lol and it was kinda pricy (well pricy to me!) and when we had supper conversaton seemed good and we shared dessert so i dunno if thats a good thing.. than we went to a movie and it was an okay movie, and than he took me home.. NOW WHAAAT?
Do i just wait and see if he like texts me? or do I text him? I hate doin this dating thing, i mean i think I like him but i don't want to decide because my guards way up...

He didn't make plans to see you again? I'd wait and let him contact you. I've found if a guy really wants to talk or see you again, they will make the effort. Let him initiate it and go from there. Good luck--I hate dating too

No he did not.. see that's where I figured he prob did not like me but we got home pretty late because of the weather and i said i would text him tommorow but i should wait for him to text me than?...

Well if you said you'd text him, I'd just say something like, "Had a great time. Thanks again " ...or something simple. Then it gives him the chance to go from there. If he doesn't, I wouldn't initiate anything else. I just know how it is "chasing" someone, even though it's stupid to have to play these games! UGH

Let us know! I went out with a guy 3 times in a week and before he went out of town the next week I said, "We should get together when you get back if you want." He never acknowledged I even said it and although he still texts me, he's never mentioned meeting up again. So neither have I. I'm not chasing someone that doesn't want to actively see me. So irritating. Especially because it takes a lot for me to even like someone!

I thought we did! He even took me to a Mavs game and then came over (hour drive) to watch a movie. Who knows? Guys are hard to figure out. But in all my dating experience I've learned if they're into you, you'll know it.

Here is my update...   I posted it in the other thread I made too, but I'm adding onto it in here haha.


We went and bought some wine and parked in the middle of nowhere and just talked for hours. Held hands. Kissed. He sang to me. Then eventually things got a little heated ;) I won't go into details haha. It was amazing. It was just soo.. perfect! When he kisses me... I get butterflies like crazy. Yes, I realize that is beyond cheesy lol. I don't care!! He asked me two or three times about taking things further, like being official. Told me things are definitely going in that direction. We just don't want to "rush" things.. Which is good. We both agreed we wouldn't be seeing anyone else.

I am extremely happy. I think we're gonna play with the kids today.

He texted me at like 9:30 i was ganna text him after lunch but he texted me first and i asked what he thought of me and he said he liked me, and i was easy to talk to to and he liked spending time with me.. so good things than

Thanks!! and I'm sorry   It can really suck not having anybody. I had been so deprived of affection until lately. Not fun!!
