ok.. this guy. Driving me crazy. He either is not a flirter... or not really interested. Grr.. and the less interested he acts... the more I flirt!

I get told the "Focus on your kids. mr right will find his way to you" smurf all the time.. and know mr rights not gonna just fall in my lap. I am newly single and have posted about our horrid break up here in the single parents bord. I am in no means looking to get into anything right now.. as its just been over this past month that things are the way they are..I am working on school, geting housing for me in LO and stamps and childcare assistance.. and most any other benifit i quilify for to try to get my life together and stand on my own two feet. I often wonder if i can date or trust a man again. I have been in all of two serious relationships both of them ended horrible. Both with my heart broken, once covered in bruises. The other, just compleatly distroyed emotionally with a child..both on my mothers doorstep. So this time i amd taking the time to set myself up.. But how do i go bout trying again? I still love Baby daddy. very much, even tho hes made it clear he just wants to be a check. anyway..How do i trust someone and go down this road again? i have given the better part of my life to two men, been across country and back..had a baby.. and i still wasnt enough..how could i trust someone to come in and accept a child..a roll as a parent PLUS..take on whatever issues i surly have from all this.

you dont'. Worry about yourself and your child. Date, have fun, but dont' worrya bout it.. and certainly don't go out looking for a father for your child. They'll smell that a mile away. I have 4, and havne't really had trouble dating.. I just haven't found mr right yet. It'll happen... but in the meantime... I enjoy my life and guys are just.. extra.

You skanky hoes.... I wish I had time to date.   I have DD 100% of the time and there's no chance in hell I'm bringing anyone around her... Im' so sick of the skeleton's in douchebag closets...

On a side note... there was this guy I've liked for ever. He was a mutual friend of a lot of people I knew and I'd see him everywhere. my dumbass ex blocked him and anyone he thought might be interested in me. I figured it out a few months later. He and I started talking a lot online (because I never get out) and he seriously was my dream guy...he even had morals... never cheated in his life. But recently he started messaged me talking about sex (not having sex just in general)... and I'm very open to that.. but I was just shocked and suprised. He keeps saying he wants to hang out, so when grandma takes the baby I tell him, then I don't hear from him. On Halloween he started talking about all the "eye candy" he was seeing while he was out... he lost like 60lbs and I feel like sure enough, he too is becoming an smurf.

Yeah maybe.... but even if that was the case, I don't play those games. We're not children. I'm sick of the games. Be real. Say what you want. Then take it or leave it. Especially because we've both been very blunt in our conversations. I feel like maybe he's trying to hint to me that he's not interested.... but that's not how he acted a month ago. He gave ME his number... I'm DONE chasing guys.. it makes it to easy for them to just take advantage. I've always gotten the guy I was interested in. Always. And now I just don't trust my own judgement. lol I'm re-routing my dating skills.

Oh, and I WOULD have to take her around them because I am a 100% single mom. 24/7 365

I broke it off with my Kids dad of Five years in March of this year and I am scared to date but I met a guy through a friend on facebook and he seems very sweet and I'd really like to get to know him.. but I still have my guard up im scared hes ganna hurt me
