Why did he lie about his age?  

So the guy that I had been dating for a couple months, decided to text me today. I haven't heard from him in weeks. I had tried texting him after he told me he was moving, and never got an answer. Well, today I got about 10 texts from him back to back. Replies from the texts I had sent weeks ago. And a couple asking me if I'm alive, and the last one said "Ok I got it." We have had issues with his phone not sending his texts before. I'm kinda pissed off. He still could have called. So he told me that he hasn't heard from me for a while. I told him why. And then he told me that he never moved. He quit his job because he would have had to wait 6 months for his ex wife and baby to move there and he didn't want to wait. Then he asked how my baby is, I asked how his is.. and I haven't heard back from him yet. Don't know if I will.

I don't know how to feel about this! I started crying my eyes out when I saw his name on my phone :/ Still crying! What the hell is wrong with me... And what do I say to him?! We never even technically "broke up". He just disappeared, and I guess he thought I was the one that disappeared.

I'd typed out a long reply, but my computer froze. That sucks... but men are hard wired to pursue. if he was really interested, why wouldn't he have called, Facebook'd, showed up to see you somewhere? ((hugs))

Exactly what I was thinkin! He knows where I live, and has me on Facebook. So we talked a little bit. He was acting like nothing ever changed between us. He told me he was "open to the idea" of hanging out again. :/ I told him if he really cared about me then he wouldn't have ignored me for weeks and weeks, and he wasn't putting in an effort before that, either. And that was the end of the conversation   Idk why I got so emotional about it. I'll just blame PMS   The same reason why I got emotional during a Christmas song today. lmao.

We had drinks at Humperdinks and then went to a Mavs game Wednesday. I don't know what to think though. He's 37 and the oldest guy I've dated so it's a little different. He's not a big texter and I don't hear from him much, but he came over Sunday night and watched a movie and ended up staying the night. Now he's out of town for a week for Thanksgiving. When he left yesterday morning, all he said was, "Have a good Thanksgiving." Not like, I'll call you later, or see you when I get back. Ugh why can't they just tell us what they want?! I don't want to date anyone else, but also don't want to waste my time.

Hi, Ladies. I recently became single in August. I started "seeing" this guy at work. I wanted a strictly FWB relationship because I'm not ready to jump into the dating scene. So we have been hooking up for couple weeks now.
How do you date or make time to for that when your BD isn't here to help out and take the kid overnight?

I usually prefer older. But.. in any new relationship.. if the guy isn't actively pursuing.. I say move on. A truly interested guy will pursue and make time. Otherwise... you're just filler until soemthign else comes along in my experience.

((hugs)) idk mama. I only have my kids 50% of the time. even then some guys find it hard becasue they want more time than I can give. Guys are a pain in the ass sometimes. They dont' want a clingy woman... but they want us available whenever they are.



Ok... so.. my army guy. We're doing well. Like I said.. gonna stop worrying about thigns and go for it. He's been sweet.. and if the main reason I keep trying to end it is the future... not a good enough reason.

the other night at work I had a REALLY bad night. I'm a labor and delivery nurse, I've been doign it a year. I had a fetal demise ... (mom lost baby at 20 weeks, had to labor and deliver it, baby got stuck and had to deliver it) I got off work and was just sobbing. He called in sick to work and took me out for drinks, and cuddled me while I fell asleep. Major points. Sometimes I think he's just fun and party boy... but other times he surprises me with being a sweetie.

awhhh that's so sweet of him! it is so nice to be surprised like that :-) We've made it a rule for my BF to leave at 1 am so that he gets enough sleep to work the next day. However, one day I had a really horrible panic attack after he left.. so he drove the 45 minutes back to my house at 3 am just to cuddle me until I fell asleep!

My boyfriend watched twilight with me last night. He is so anti twilight but he took it like a champ.  


We are going out to dinner tomorrow night since neither of us feel like cooking tomorrow and I'm excited. He's going dirt bike riding in the morning and I'm doing family time in the morning. I have definetly chilled out on the texting and he is back to his normal loving/semi clingy self. It's been nice and I feel less stressed to be up his ass all the time.  

Our work is having a Christmas party in two weeks, he was cute enough to ask me if we can go together.   I thought it was implied, but it was still cute to me that he Asked.
