Technically you're not supposed to DRIVE with anything on the seat. I always used the poncho things when Cora was in a stroller or being carried around in the infant seat

I just put blankets on her in the car.

Yeah, we just use the poncho over her seat and a fleece jacket on her. Works great! lol

I did get one of those blanket things that drape over only cause I got a hell of a deal on it and its a western pattern!

but not the stuff that covers the fabric your carseat came with
