IMO anyone who kills someone isn't sane. Normal people don't just go around killing people. But there's "The disease made me do it" and then there are people who are just smurfed up and kill people even though they know it's wrong. I think she's the latter. I don't know her reasoning behind killing these kids, but hey. If you could choose HOW you killed someone so that it made you look insane in case you got caught, wouldn't you do it that way rather than in a fashion that gets you sent to death row? -Shrugs.- That's just my thinking.

sane or not that was thought out from grabbing the knives, leaving one in the car, making the kids pray/kneel, slitting their throats, killing the dogs bc they were 'witnesses'... driving to the church, leaving and calling n leaving a msg on the answering machine... coming up with 3 separate stories. fry the b*tch. insane or not rip her sm*rfing heart out while she's still alive. I think she's trying to get an insanity defense not that she really is insane. She prolly did do it all out of spite.

What you wrote was super confusing, but I get it and I agree.

The thing is though, people don't realize pleading insanity is no walk in the park. For instance if she doesn't she goes to jail for her set time, and then when she's out, she's out. She's free, no ties.

If she pleads insanity, no matter how long she's in for she'll be monitored the rest of her life.

Unfortunately, here in the states, they aren't monitored for life. They are committed to an institution until they're deemed "Not a thread to society" anymore and then set free. Because someone who put on this act in the first place couldn't put on yet another act for the institution, right?

"Not a threat to society"I wish here they would keep people locked up until they were not a 'threat'.. They honestly let people go who are still a threat... One will be released tomorrow in the small city I live in.

The police officers description: "_____ has a lengthy criminal history of violent offences relating to substance abuse, property crime and the commission of violent offences involving use or threat of use of weapons against persons with whom he comes in contact. ..." "under the authority of and pursuant to the Public Disclosure Act, is announcing that a high-risk offender will be, upon his release on November 2, 2012, residing within the _____area. ...."

And they have him as a "likely to re offend"........................ this man is super dangerous, and has used weapons on people?...He is going to end up killing someone, so scary.

Yeah that's what's scary. They try to make sentences here long enough that if you don't get the death penalty, you're gonna come out of jail old, feeble, and gray. But if you commit the crime at say 20, and then you get 25 years, you're out at 45 and could still potentially be dangerous. I don't agree with that.

Wow..I have read a lot of tragic horrid stories like this and they make me sick. How can people do this to anyone especially a child?
