Fell and hit head

My 4 year old was chasing the cats around the house and not listening like usual. She fell and hit her head on her bedroom door. She had a decent gash on her head and a huge bump. The bleeding seems to be slowing down now. I am going to keep her up for another hour or 2. But since she hit her head so hard should I take her in just to be on the safe side or just watch her at home?

If she has a 'gash' I would take her in.

If the bleeding is slowing down and she didn't pass out I think she should probably be fine.

If it's a big gash, probably take her. I am pretty sure they can get infected if not closed up.

I think I am going to call just to be on the safe side. Head injuries always scare me.
