5th Birthday Party Ideas?!

posted 1st Nov
My son will be 5 in January, so I want to have a Special Birthday Party for him! We live in Indiana, so it will be cold outside. We have done Chuck-E-Cheese type parties the last 2 years, so I dont really wanna go that route again. I am tempted just to rent a banquet room & have games or something. I am looking for idea's, can you ladies help me out? What/where could I do/have for my son's 5th Birthday Party, Indoors?!! TIA!

Having my sons soon to be 6 yr old party at the movies since he is a December baby. He's only allowed 10 kids if that many.

I was considering this also, there's a theater in Indy that has a banquet room for parties, then a movie after! But he doesn't really sit through a whole movie yet. lol Love the idea tho!

I am in the same boat. My son will be 5 in december. I was thinking about a gym/moon bounce place but those parties are for only 1 1/2 hours. Then i was thinking about am indoor pool but then my nephew who is in diapers wont be able to enjoy the water. We have done bowling for that couple of his birthdays so dont want to do that. And i dont think my younger kids will sit through a whole movie- they are 3 and 2 yrs old. Ugh! Last year it was pretty warm outside for december so maybe we will be able to rent a space at a park/recenter and rent a moon bounce. I dont know. I cant think of anymore options.

What about something indoor? I don't know if you all have one but we have a puzzle fun zone? It has things for kids of all ages. They have a rock climbing wall moon bouncy slide and infant play place. It's kinda like a checkee cheese. But way more kid age friendly.

We have those places in the next town over, I thought about it, but I guess I was just trying to think of something a bit different, since we did Chuck-E-Cheese the last 2 yrs, but I might look into them again. Thnx for all ur suggestions!!

Yeah it's hard with a December baby. My sons bday is the 7th and my oldest daughter bday is January 21st.

My brothers and my bday is in november and december so it was always hard having bday parties growing up. so one year my mother allowed us to have a bday party in the summer at the pool LOL that was a mess bc when it came time for our actual bday we still wanted a party. well needless to say- that never happened again.
