frustrated with 8.5 month old

Anybody else get frustrated throughout the day with their baby? My son is 8 and a half months old and makes me crazy sometimes. He fusses all day because you can tell he wants to get up and just go but he's too little. He fusses at me so matter what I do. I put him down with his toys, I play with him, I have his sister play with him, we have movies on...all day is go, go, go, but nothing seems to make him happy right now. Well, correction, going out to stores makes him happy, but we can't do that everyday since gas is soooo much. Any ideas on how to keep him entertained or at least content?

What about just going outside? Or maybe stroller rides? I know with mine they would get moody andI would put them in the bathtub, lol. They loved baths and if they had cups in there to pour water out of it was even better.
