its hard... he freaks out and overreacts about the littlest things. in that moment it's like his world has ended... but then later that night or the next day he comes to me and tells me he's sorry he acted that way, and explains himself to me.

i have anxity disorder on top of a few other things. i feel the same way.. ive noticed kaylee is picking up on my behaviors lately.. my mom said after i was diagnosed.. looking back i had alot of emotional problems from the time i was a toddler but thouht i was needy and dramatic and high spirited...

yes after fighting for 3 years to get her help they finally got her in speech.. alot of people i know when they hear she has an iep they think shes is behind .. someone asked " so that means shes retarded and dumb right" i was livid.. i had to explain that it just means she needs extra help so she can project what she wants better. shes actually a very bright girl.

that's great progress!  

its ignorence. i have spent the last 5 years in and out of pedi offices.. ent offices.. everywhere just trying to figure out what was wrong. she has alot of scarring in her ear canal from having over 18 ear infection before she was 2. ive spent hours and hours with her reading books and doing flashcards to get her talking. she barely talked the first part of her life. she did alot of babbling but didnt talk much until she was 3 and even then i couldnt understand alot.. but she would try .. so no even though my daughter sounds like toddler shes not dumb.
