re: Choosing abortion for selfish reasons? (D&D)

Thanks guys. I told my Mom a few days ago that if I was that I would abort and she went on this whole rant about how my children would feel about knowing I aborted their sister/brother. Or that she would take the baby, or that I could just work it all out. Yeah she says she's pro-choice  

1st. The girls would never know. There is no reason I would ever tell them and no reason for them to know.
2nd I would never be able to let someone else raise any of my children especially just one of them.
and 3rd? It unfortunately wouldn't turn out ok in the end. With how bad I got mentally with my second I'm terrified of what would happen with a third so soon. And the things that would happen to my poor already smurfed up body? Lol no... Just no

How about I take the next 5 minutes out of my life and google some awful stories, and then you can go through and tell me how they're just a bump in the road and it'll sort it self out.

No I think you're just refusing to accept that not everything can be rainbows and butterflies.  
Not everything will always come out for the better. If you have had that good luck then good for you. But it doesn't happen for everyone.

Dont get me wrong. I am by no means judging you. I have been in some crappy circumstances in my life. I have "stumbled" as my mom calls it. I just figure everything out in the end. Always have. But you know...I dont live your life. An abortion would be for you to decide. I dont agree with it, but I would never tell you that you were a smurffy person if you did it.

What if you loose the will? What if it literally drives you insane to have another child? How would that be good for that baby or the other children in the house? Or even the other adults in the house?

Well I chose my sons life and went to college while I was pregnant. So in situations that you can control yes you can change the outcome. I was referring to the things you don't have control over.

But you also didn't try to go to college you just assumed you would fail at having a baby and school don't go together. But guess what with will and determination you can have the outcome of better education and be a mom.

If I were to get pregnant right now I'd have to drop out. Not because I don't have "will or determination" but because we don't qualify for daycare assistance and daycare would double which we wouldn't be able to do.
