I hate being back to work full time! I got 7 weeks pretty much off with this baby, 3 with my middle and 4 with my oldest. I didn't have enough time with the older 2 to get used to staying at home, but with Taylor I got used to it, and I had to go back to work full time last week. I know I have to work for at least 4 more years (1. I am in a contract until that point and 2. We can't afford it yet) but I ammissing being at home with the kids so much! And then my SIL (who watches them) calls and tells me Taylor rolled over for the first time today! Granted, I know I will miss some of her "firsts" but I think the fact that i want so badly to be at home makes it a gazillion times harder! Now I am bummed and can't wait to get to their house and see my little girl... still 2 more hours until then!

I'm soo not looking forward to going back to work.
I'm going to try and go to school instead.... But I still will be away from my baby, and that will drive me crazy!!!!
I wish I could have a camera on him 24/7 to make sure to catch all his firsts.

I'm sorry Emilie. I feel your pain. My hubby is off during the week now so he's home with our little guy during the day so he's always sending me pix msgs of him while I'm at work and I miss them SO much! I'm off in 2 mins though! Thankfully!

It drives me nuts bc with the job I have I drop the kids off at my SIL's at 0600, and I don't get to pick them up until almost 1645! I love my SIL to death and I am so grateful for the price that she watches the kiddos for, but I still feel like she gets to see my kids more than I do since she is with them during so much of their waking hours!

I know! I live like an hour away from where I work, so I drop Coop of at the sitter's at 0530 and then carpool to work and DH picks him up at 1330 but my carpool doesn't get me home til 1830! But if I drive myself I get home at 1645 BUT it costs me $25 A DAY in gas to do that... UGH!
