Wedding dress return

I know a lot of girls that will buy a dress for a party or whatever and will wear it once and than return it. I'm wondering if any of you have bought a wedding dress, wore it for your wedding and than either tried to return it or actually did return it. I've never done it and don't plan to I'm just curious.

Most bridal places won't take returns after it is fitted. Some won't even take returns after the down payment.

I ordered my wedding dress online from David's Bridal, when I got in in the mail, it was 3 sizes too small, even though I had tried it on in the store, same size and it fit perfectly (and I had actually lost weight, since I had tried it on).

It was a giant PITA to get them to just exchange it for me, I can only imagine the nightmare if I wanted to return it..

PLUS, my dress was TORE up the next morning.   Plus, tons of alcohol stains. There's just no way I could have kept my dress clean enough and in one piece to even attempt to return it..

Most places won't take a return on a wedding dress and they are dirty and worn after your wedding.

Lol! No, buy the dress. I've never even heard of anyone trying to return their wedding dress, you can rent one I bet.

My exs cousin tried returning hers and the sales clerk told her she was crazy. I thought it was funny because she got so pissed about it.

At most bridal stores, all sales are final.
