re: Stop Smoking Support.

I am on day 2 of not smoking, i feel great, i have more energy, no cravings nothing.
I stopped smoking my entire pregnancy, didnt start untill emma was about 8 months old. She is now 16 months, and i realized i didnt want to be that mom that always smells like cigs( both my paretns smoked, i HATE the way they smelled, and the way it made me smell)
and will cigs being $8.00 i cant afford to smoke

Oh Jesus Christ! I've been smoke free for 10 months. My SO and I quit when we found out about the pregnancy. He is smoking again, pisses me off because I feel, I don't know like he is not supporting me. He comes home tobacco smelling and makes want to smoke so bad  . The only reason why I havent smoked is bc I'm BF my baby and I know it's not good  .

don't you find that old stale smoke smell nasty? i think the post-smoking odor is one of THE foulest smells.

I think that is the biggest reason why i stopped. i HATED that smell, it was soooooo gross. It seemed like no matter how much you washed yourself and your clothes that smell never would go away.
I am going on day 5 of being smoke free!!!

thank you! im actually doing really good. I just look at my daughter everytime i think i want to smoke. she is the reason why im doing this.I think i have lost bout 5lbs from it too

So i quit smoking the day i got my pregnancy confirmed at the hospital and a week later starting smoking again. I'm probably gonna get a lot of crap from people on here but i still have a few puffs here and there and can not entirely stop. i feel guilty every time afterwards. But it's hard i bought popsicles, and hard candy and it's helped a little but if anything it's making me snack alot more.

I NEED a cigarette... so bad.. right now!   It's all I keep on thinking about!

Hey everybody. I've been smoking for about 5 years and I'm so ready to STOP.
I quite for 9 months while pregnant with my son. I have no idea why I was stupid enough to start up again as soon as he was out!

So please, any advice would be great. I've gotten myself from a pack a day down to about 2 a day during the past few months... but I can't make myself stop completely.

I have been smoking on and off for 8 years now. I want to quit so bad. I have fully quit but restarted several times. It's like I tell myself I want to quit and that I need to, and then I don't. I've cut down a lot. I have been thinking about calling my doctor and seeing about a quit smoking aide for help. Any advice on what would be the best to get? Any advice to the ladies who have quit, would definitely be appreciated! Thank you!

I quit my entire pregnancy too and started back up about a month after he was born   Worst decision I ever made!! My boyfriend smokes too so its sooo hard to quit living with a smoker!! Any advice?!?!
