PERIOD, Y U NO?!?!?!!!

I posted a few times freaking over the fact that I still haven't gotten my period after 5 months of being off depo (as in, 5 months from what should have been the day before the next shot I'd have taken).

Yesterday I posted about light cramping and a reddish-brown tinged, stringy discharge. Nobody replied so I was like eh, whatever, probably no big d.

Last night I started cramping BAD. I ended up taking 5 ibuprofen it was so bad. And I had MORE of the weird discharge. I was so excited, thinking my period was going to start any second!

I figured, surely, this morning, right?

I wake up...no cramping, no discharge, nothing.

Please tell me somebody out there has gone through this.

I have fertility issues as is. I had DD only by some weird fluke. I NEED to have my period just as reassurance. =[

I really don't see why that matters...this isn't a pregnancy issue or I would have posted it there.

It took me almost a year to get my period back and then a year after I got it back to get pregnant. Depo smurfed my smurf up

Honestly, I would still test just to make sure. That way you can totally rule it out. I know you don't think it is. But with everything that you mentioned it wouldn't hurt.

It's literally impossible for me to be pregnant right now.

I get that people are trying to help, but I'm looking for experience on this with the information I've given.

I'm absolutely not pregnant.

Did you ever get the cramping/weird discharge on and off before it came back completely?

I was off mine for three months then started bc pills & it started back on the first pack.

I've been told a few times to try the pill to get it back...I just don't know if I want to move to a new birth control when I still have crazy hormones. Haha. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it, though.

Yeah I understand that. I just figured for me it'd be easier than waiting for it to come back. Lol. I'm sure a doctor will be able to give you more advice than I can though.
Also my mom used it and it took over a year to get hers back, but she also had her tubes tied shortly after getting off if so idk if that had anything to do with it.

Mm I remember spotting , and a little discharge. Cramping though I don't recall. The main thing I remember was gaining 50 lbs in 2 months.

im not on any bc and sexually active that being said i am breastfeeding and have had weird discharge and spotting once a month for one day this month though i had a real auntflo. maybe your hormones are whacked bc of the hormones from the depo. im not prego either bc i have gallbladder disease and in an out of the er and they test me all the time.
