When my husband & I took our kids trick or treating we ran into some family friends.

our daughter and I had just got candy I turn around and realize our family friends were behind us, we didnt arrive with them, we knew that they would be there, but I wasnt expecting to see them at that moment.

As I turn around I see my female friend greet my husband, and give him a hug, then Im expecting her to hug me too.

She looks a me and stays distant from me, and gives me a simple hello. First of all she never hugs me or my husband when she or her parents invite us to their parties.

Her husbands 30th birthday party pased a few months ago, it was a adult only party, and we didnt have anyone to watch our kids, my husband also wanted to go to a diffrent event for that night, so I told my friend that we couldnt go because my husband wanted to go to an event.

My husband left me at home with the kids that evening to go to her party she was throwing for her husband.

I find it very odd that she gave my husband a hug, what do you think??

Uh... I think you're over thinking things.

Welll... same thing happened tonight. I walked over to my friends house. They opened the door, I said hello to everyone and gave her boyfriend a HUGE hug.
Doesn't mean anything. SO didn;t even think twice. I'm just a hugger with my friends

Don't make a hug more than a hug. I have male friends that I hug, but I don't hug their wife/gf because I'm not close with them. Sometimes you just feel more comfortable around others..
