i feel

posted 1st Nov
im 28 weeks today   very excited; but i feel extremely small for being 28 weeks.
i have only gained 7 to 8 pounds maybe and compared to other people i know or have known that either are or were pregnant they were/are twice the size i am now and i just feel like i should be bigger; i mean you can tell im pregnant but people hardly ever believe me on how far along i am. and i like the fact i still can fit in my jeans and most of my cloths but i just feel so small :/
but my doctor said im fine and so is little man; and said its most likely do to the fact for how active i am and was before i got pregnant and that i still continued my work out schedule just adjusted it threw my pregnancy so far.
and my family along with friends tell me its because im having a boy and with boys you usually gain all the weight the last month or so?
so i was just curious is anyone else feels or has felt like this?

I didn't show much until i hit about 28 weeks, I was all belly. It was irritating when people kept saying "you don't even look pregnant! You sure you're eating?" No, actually I thought I'd just starve my child.. idiots. I was still smallish for full term and gave birth to a healthy 7lb4 little boy 5 days ago. Some people just don't show much, try not to let it bother you   Just because you're little doesn't mean your baby will be.

The size of your bump is mostly due to the shape of your uterus and the position the baby is sitting in. With my son, I didn't look pregnant until around 8 months.... and I was 50lbs lighter with him than I was with my daughter. WIth her I showed around 16 weeks. Both were about 9lbs As long as you are eating right and taking your vitamins there is nothing to worry about.

Has nothing to do with the sex of the baby...anytime anyone tells you that something is "because you're carrying a boy", it's more than likely a wives' tale. Just has to do with the position of your uterus & the baby, the amount of fluid you have, and the fact that it's your first pregnancy so your muscles aren't loosened yet.
