not everyone has changed. I'm actually almost anti- non circ.
I wouldn't leave it, but again, that's a personal family choice.

I'm personally not getting my son circumcised. Have you ever watched the procedure? The newborn screams and cries. He feels it. He may not ever remember but I would. I see no point in putting him in pain. And they are not harder to take care of. You don't pull the foreskin back to clean until the boy hits puberty and at that point he should know how to clean himself. Also, he should wrap it up when he becomes sexually active, therefore preventing disease. That or not sleep with multiple partners. Also, some studies have shown that men who are not circumcised have more pleasurable sex. There are many positives to not getting them circumcised. In my opinion, they outweigh any negatives, which aren't proven very well anyways.

No, I am pretty sure it would be impossible for me to see EVERY procedure done. I am just saying the ones that I have seen done, the baby does scream and cry. And why would any mother want to take the chance of hurting their child when its not necessary?

Because his body went into shock. That's the case most times when the baby isn't fussing or crying, it's because their body literally shuts down.

He wasn't in shock. I'm not saying it was pleasant, but he was fine! and as far as I'm concerned it's a necessary procedure.

I say NO NO NO as my personal choice for my DS to be born in December. DH is uncut, and he is the cleanest guy I've ever done anything in any sexual manner with. He's psycho about keeping his equipment clean, so I told him he can help DS learn how to keep clean and he's perfectly okay with that!   I personally think being cut is worse simply for the reason being I have heard more children having infections right after circumcision being cut than children being uncut and having infections later on when they are on their own for cleaning. Just remember one thing - their immune system is soooo sensitive at that young of an age to be able to handle an infection, rather than later on when they are taking care of their own bits. Just my thoughts  

I personally would do it. That is just my decision though everybody is diff. As a nurse I've seen some disgusting things like when they get older its harder for them to take care of it and in the nursing homes people dont take good care of patients and sometimes its like cottage cheese in there.
Also (my personal opinion) I think they look weird uncircumcised and its just gross when u've got to give them a catheter. And my husband is circumcised and he still has natural lube when he is in the mood (TMI)

to be honest, i was completely against it not long ago. my bf isn't circumsized, but i want my baby boy to be.. it seems brutal to put a little baby through that, but i know he won't remember it. it'll be a lot easier to clean for me, and him (when he's old enough to)

  That's a smurffy reason. "He won't remember it." The smurf kind of reasoning is that?


And no, it's harder for a cut boy to be cleaned in the beginning. Because you have to prevent infection since an open wound sits in a diaper (which can have piss in it for a little bit). You have to pay constant attention to the wound until it's healed. With an intact boy.... you do nothing besides clean what is seen. That's it. And after the cut boy is healed.... you clean them both the same way --- clean what is seen. So, your argument that it's easier to care for is wrong.
