At what point did you start suspecting?

That your LO had autism?  

My Mom keeps wanting me to get Reilly tested. She's 2 1/2 and is really regressing on her skills.
She used to be really outgoing and played really well with others. She was really good with strangers, was always happy, and overall a really good kid.

Well lately she has been going beyond just being a normal 2 year old.
She doesn't want to play with ANYONE accept me. She plays by her self more and more.She's even gotten to the point that she wont let SO, Nanna, or her aunt, all of who she use to LOVE hold her or even play with her   All she wants is me. Only me.
I asked her day care teacher how she was doing and she even said she had noticed a big difference in when she started.
She's even talking less than she use to.
She wont play with the kids at daycare and cries all day long.
She's not sleeping well either.  

Idk what's going on. Obviously I'm not jumping to autism. But my Mom is determined that it's what it is.  
Nothing has changed in the last couple of months either I just don't get why she is doing this.

My brother has autism, and it started at around two and half. He was having major behavioral issues at school. He was diagnosed at around three with Asperger's.

But I wouldn't freak out just yet. Has she had any major life changes going on? A big move? I would see a child psychologist before jumping any conclusions, and if she is autistic, don't fret! My brother, after many years of therapy and training, is excelling in high school and the math teacher wants him to skip Geometry b/c he is a super genius, lol.

I don't know about Autism, but if you have noticed that many changes in her personality I would definitely talk to her pedi. It seems like something is certainly up. Good luck momma.

Nope nothing, literally nothing has changed. They are going to the doctor next wed for her well checkup so I guess I'll just talk to them when I get there.

Yeah, ask about autism, but don't panic. And if you need someone to talk to, I'm here. I've watched my now fourteen year old brother struggle with autism, but he is flourishing. It is a hard long road, but very doable.

Right at 2 years old I suspected my son had it. He does.

my so is getting his cna and im a stahm. yeah we arnt rich but its ok =) autistic kids can be self sufficient. anyways i would make sure she isnt getting picked on

Cora isn't autistic, but around 15-18 months is when I noticed she was "different" and not just like normal different
