Update on sweet little Emily

My little one finally has a discharge date! She should be coming home Monday. She had a repeat swallow eval today. It showed no aspiration, she still has some regurgitation of formula from her nose and reflux so they will be sending her home on an apnea monitor. Today she is 7 weeks 1 day. She was 5 lbs 4 oz at birth and now weights almost 8 lbs. I'm so excited for my little one to be home with me!

Good luck to you also. It is a good feeling knowing the end is in sight. The day she is discharged will be one day shy of 8 weeks. Been a long tough road!

We live in Roanoke Rapids, For the first month she was at vidant in greenville then transferred to Nash in Rocky Mount!

Cant wait its horrible not being there 24/7 like you should but Monday is only 4 days away   Liam will be one day short of 5 weeks when hes home, how strange lol I couldnt imagine having to wait another 3 weeks but there is a baby in Liams SCBU that is over a hundred days old feel so sorry for her parents ! Makes me so thankful how well he has came on they could keep him another 5 weeks if they wanted but hes doing that well they dont need to thank god ! x
