breech baby?

I went to the doctor yestarday and they felt my cervix I was dilated to a one but he couldn't feel the babys head so he did an ultrasound and she is breech so he talked to me about turning her or scheduleing a c-section so I decided to try to turn her instead of having a c-section. Has anyone had there baby turned by the doctor and if so what does it feel like because I am super scared. I know that they can't deliver a breech baby so that is y I went with her being turned. Anyways I really would like to hear other womens experience on this and how long after did u go into labor??? Sorry so long I'm really scared!

i'm sorry hun, i'm no help as I chose the c-section. I hope everything goes okay

Baby # 8 and 9 for me were breeched and turned at 36 weeks which is when I had them also! I was indeed scheduled for an inversion 4 days after she turned,I too was scared and also learned that sometimes it starts labor and they do the procedure w/ U/S assistance! There is still some time for the baby to turn. Now my 9th baby went head down on his own and while i was in labor he turned back transverse between 7-9 cm , I was then rushed into Emergency C~section!! Baby can also turn once an inversion has been done also!

#3 and #4 were transverse/breech, and c-sections were scheduled (because my SIl had the inversions done, and she said while they hurt like hell, they didnt work, so i didnt want to risk it). But luckily, each of them turned around 37-38 weeks. #4 turned back breech while I was in labor though, so we had an emergency c-section anyway :/

So did u end up getting the inversion? And if u did, did it start labor?

I am just trying to get out of a c-section because I want to go through the labor part I don't wanna have surgery if I don't have to. I know some women would perfer a c-section but not me I like experincing labor. I am so scared that it will hurt and if they get her turned I will only be 37 weeks and I hope that she is fully developed just in case I were to go into labor. I'm pretty scared I couldn't sleep because I was so worried about it! I hope it all goes well

yeah I'm sad i've never experienced labor so I know how you feel about that. and my girls were born at 37 wks and were fully developed and healthy (no nicu either) so i'm sure she will be fine  

My daughter flipped breech while I was in labor. They tried to turn her but she wouldn't budge. Since I was already in labor, they had to give me terbutaline to stop my contractions. That was the worst. Not a good experience at all and very scary. But I am glad I at least had them try. I didn't want to always be like, Well what if I had tried and she had turned?

No, I did not have to get inversion!
