You sound like me. I wanted to go back on our anniversaries but our kids have been too little every year. I miss it sooooo much. This year we went to universal studios and that was a lot of fun.

If we have a ceremony I may have to be a "Bridezilla". As SO said "Bride with a backbone." No, you can wear ICP facepaint to the wedding. No, You can't bring the girl you have been dating for 2 two weeks family to the wedding. No, you can't wear a long white gown.

We don't even gamble or drink, but I LOVED seeing the Shark Reef thing, and all the attractions. The lions at the MGM and the tigers at the little zoo place. It was so much fun. We stayed at the Venetian and it was so nice.

Universal Studios was a blast though. We did the VIP pass so we could go front of lines (since we only had the one day) and got the special tour. Honestly it was so much fun we might do that again this year too, haha.

It's nice that Vegas is so close. We would go out through Amboy and it only took like 2 hours (well 4 if you're going the speed limit).

Oh I a, 10 hours away from Vegas LOL..but if we Leave at 5 in the morning still get there around 3 and have the rest of the night!! My husband has never been to Lake Tahoe so might hit there next yeat instead

That's fun too! I love going to Big Bear. We like to rent a boat and fish there. It's soooo much fun. That's one thing I love about California. You're just a few hours from EVERYTHING.

That behavior is unacceptable, IMO.

I've never been married, but I think a marriage is definitely a family affair. You're bringing together two completely different groups of people and forming your own family bond. Sure, you should be happy with it and "get your way" in some things...and I honestly think that if you like a dress/venue/etc and it's within your means, you should be able to get it. BUT I think it should also take the family into consideration to an extent. Like, if your SOs family is strictly religious, you're not going to get a wedding dress that doubles as a freak um dress no matter how much you like it. Respecting yourself starts with being mature enough to respect others.

I eloped. I'm just not into being the center of attention, PDA, etc.


Bridezillas bother me, but you know the producers make them amp it. Up for the show- which I love watching, lol.

People go out of their way to go to weddings and the wedding party especially goes out of their way, so to be a Bridezilla with a "it's my day!" Princess attitude is so gross to me. It's their day, yeah, but the point is supposed to be sharing that day with loved ones.
