When you see 4-5-6 and older kids in a stroller, what do you think?

Well, my son is still 3 and spends quite a bit of outside time in the stroller. He is likely to when he's older as well. The reason for that is that we don't have a car and he simply does not have the stamina to walk long distances. Plus he gets distracted and we can't stop every 100 meters to play for half an hour if we're going somewhere.

I am confused as to why this would be an issue to even discuss.

I really think 4 is the limit. An even then it's usually only at theme parks and such, where there's allot of people and allot of walking. I usually only put DS who will be 4 in two weeks in the stroller as punishment. Kinda like a mobile time out. Although I doubt if even have the stroller if it weren't for his lil sister.

What I hate is the 4 and 5 year olds in the stroller with a bottle!!!

I dont think I would think to much of a 4 year old, but a 6 year old is a bit much IMO.

I don't know what the "age cutoff" is.

I think 6 is pushing it but 4 and 5 is no biggie to me. My 4 year old and 5 week old share a sit and stand. I cant be carrying around a 40lb kid constantly and be out trying to get stuff done or enjoy myself.

4 years old I get... because my daughter is almost 4 and I push her in her stroller for our walk some days because a mile and a half can sometimes wear her out... but 6 years old? I'd say ONLY if we're having a LONGGGG ass day at a theme park... I'd bring a stroller to split between my two kids (who, when DD is 6, DS would be 2)

Adrian rode in a stroller until he was close to 5. When he was 4 we took his stroller down to FL for the last time. It felt so freeing last time not to bring a stroller.

I see no problem in older kids in strollers.

LOL I've actually gotten a lot of comments of this nature from like 5-6 years olds. Like "Look mommy, he's all grown up and sitting in a stroller!"

I haven't put Hailee in an actual stroller since she was probably like 2. But when we are at the mall I always get those annoying car things that they ride in. We don't really go anywhere she can't walk though.

Dont see an issue with it.

I try not to judge. I don't know the reasons why he/she may be in a stroller.

My kids never liked strollers, some kids love them.
