Abortion

Okay, So I am writing a college term paper on abortions. I need to get a pro-choice side, a Pro-life side and also some people who are "on the fence". I was wondering if people could give me some insight if you have had an abortion,ect.

I can give you info on the pro-life side of things if you still need something. I'm a member of the NRLC and go to the protests.

A woman should be able to abort for whatever reason she chooses. As long as it is within the legal time-frame the reason why should eb between her, the child's father, and whatever god she prays to.

I am looking for all sides,because I have to then explain my side of abortion. Like for those of you who had an abortion what were your reasons? or was there even a reason to begin with?

In general, I'm prolife. I cannot for the life of me tell a woman who's been raped or who's life is in danger that she cannot have an abortion. I think those are very delicate situations and need to be handled with a great deal of respect, compassion, and sensitivity.

I haven't had one, nor do i ever plan to, but i guess you could say i'm on the fence about it. I grew up in a VERY pro life church, and i used to be very against abortion. But now not so much. Its a women's choice, but i also believe that its still murdering a child. I can see both sides and understand their view, but i would never consider it for myself.

I used to think I was pro-life until people on this website changed my mind about it.
Do you want reasons as to why we think the way that we do?

First time it was my ex told me it was me or the baby. So I chose him. But I have come to terms that it was a good thing because I already had a son. and the second time, I wanted it because I knew if I didnt get an abortion I would have been kicked out. But I didnt have enoough money to go through with that abortion, because the father wouldnt stick up any money because he was pro life. So I had to choose adoption. And keeping him wasnt an option at all.

I am on the fence with it as well. So I am trying to see both sides.

I'm going tomorrow for mine and my reasoning is that I didn't want anymore kids. This baby was an oopsie that happened right before my DH got his vasectomy.

Yes, anything is helpful. I want this to be a strong piece because if my piece is selected I will be able to actually be able to debate the issue in person to an advisory board at my school
